Danny was hugely influenced by…what you call the acid house movement and you can hear that on the film, you know the techno music at the beginning. It was a big influence on Danny so he was listening to a lot of that kind of music. I think him and Ewan had an admiration for Bjork’s first album, which drove me crazy. I was much more middle of the road. I remember putting an Eric Clapton track on and feeling very self-conscious, you know, among these two hip guys.
